Nagareboshi- Volume One

<sub>I have just taken a huge step towards the start of Nagareboshi..... I bring to you a big, colorful fake volume cover!! I apologize for getting color dodge happy. >.<

This took me about 3 days to finish, mainly out of time constraints and lack of ideas for the layout. But I like the overall appearance, even though it's missing some things most real manga covers have (like a little picture of some artwork from the series on the back). Oh well, not all manga volume exteriors are the same.

This cover features the two main characters, Natsuko and Susumu. At first, I was really unhappy about Susumu's skin tone, but I fiddled with it a bit and I finally got the color I wanted. Natsuko, being the first character I created, was very easy to make a color scheme for. I rather like the volume description on the back cover. XD It is pretty accurate, although when it says "world", I mean the whole series. The world they live in is NOT called Nagareboshi.

Again, Nagareboshi has no real meaning to the series.

As for the bar code.... I scanned that from one of my Vampire Knight manga volumes. XD

I kept this cover in English, by suggestion of . After all, this will be read by people that know English. I plan for the manga itself to have any text presented to the characters to be in Japanese (like when they read books or boards). Sound effects will also be in Japanese. Don't worry- sound effects and text will be translated in the artist's notes. (On that note, the kanji in the Nagareboshi logo means "shooting star.")</sub>
